A Timeline of Real Events, and Projection of Possibilities

Signs We Can See

A common theme throughout the words of Christ in every section of canonized scripture are the signs of the advent of Christ. He promises that there will be "wonders in the heavens, and signs on the earth below." Acts 2:19. Here is a timeline of signs in the heavens above, and in the earth below, including warnings from modern prophets. There are some that are certain to come to pass, such as the things written in the stars, and others that are uncertain, but seem more and more likely as we get further along this timeline...

Below is a more detailed explanation than what you can see in the graphic.

Now an explanation:
The Hebrew Calendar

This section connects the ancient 7 year cycles of God's calendar, with the words of His prophets, and real world events.

  • The Hebrew Calendar
    • The Israelite years were reckoned like their weeks. They would work for 6 years, then rest the 7th (Lev 25:8-9).
      • No work was done, no selling or trading was done, they all lived off of their food storage, they opened their gates to the poor, and all debts were forgiven.
      • It was a scheduled, intentional financial collapse. The people could chose to be righteous, and follow the laws; or God would do the collapse for them, and open their gates by the swords of other nations.
      • This calendar continues to be in effect 6,000 years after the creation of the world. This 7th year was called a Shemitah (Sabbath year).
    • They also had Jubilee years, which were every 50 years, which are 7 x 7 = 49, and then the next year was the year of Jubilee (Lev 25:10-11).

Modern Feasts and Famines

    • October 1998 - President Gordon B. Hinckley - “To the Boys and Men
      • After reciting the story of the seven years of feast and famine found in Gen. 41:17–20, 22–26, 28–30, 32, President Hinckley said this:
        • “Now, brethren, I want to make it very clear that I am not prophesying, that I am not predicting years of famine in the future. But I am suggesting that the time has come to get our houses in order. So many of our people are living on the very edge of their incomes. In fact, some are living on borrowings. We have witnessed in recent weeks wide and fearsome swings in the markets of the world. The economy is a fragile thing.
    • September 17, 2001 (Elul 29 in the Hebrew Calendar) Began the 7 Years of Feast
      • This was the first day of the 7 year cycle. America had been dedicated to God, He has chosen this as a promised land, and many have turned from Him. He sent us warning from the prophets, and called America to repentance, much like He did with Israel in Isaiah 9:10.
      • On the exact same day that the stocks opened (Sept 17), the day before the  Hebrew New Year started (Elul 29). To call America to repent, He wiped out some of our wealth when the DOW dropped 7%.  (Largest crashes in History
      • However, God gave us the 7 years to repent, and for the righteous to heed the warnings of the prophet to gather for the time of famine.
    • Oct 2005 - President Gordon B. Hinckley - “If Ye Are Prepared Ye Shall Not Fear
      • Again warned of 7 years of feast and famine:
        • “Let us never lose sight of the dream of Pharaoh concerning the fat cattle and the lean, the full ears of corn, and the blasted ears; the meaning of which was interpreted by Joseph to indicate years of plenty and years of scarcity (see Gen. 41:1–36).”
        • Notice that both warnings are given in October, and followed by a collapse after a few years for preparations in September.
    • Sept 2008 (7 years after Sept 2001) - Began the 7 Years of Famine (The Great Recession)
      • America didn’t repent.
      • Congress didn’t pass the Bush Bailout, which is attributed as being the cause of the crash.
      • Again, same day: Elule 29 (Sept 29), God wiped out 7% of our wealth. The DOW dropped an average of 777 points on this day. This time we didn’t recover, which sent us into the Great Recession.
    • Sept 2015
      • China greatly devalued its currency which sent shock waves around the global economy.
      • There wasn't a single massive hit, but this is Johnathan Cahn's insight on the economic events.
      • The world has gone crazy, many people already joke about future generations pretending 2016 didn't exist. The secret combinations are allowing two corrupt insiders to battle for power, trying to see which one can get away with more, this election cycle has left American Christians with no moral option outside a 3rd party candidate.

This photo is to illustrate the 7 year cycle, no massive crash happened in 2015.

Blood Moons and the Hebrew Calendar

  • This topic is closely tied to the 7 years of Feast and Famine, however to compartmentalize, this section was broken up.
    • Think back on the first paragraph about the 7 year cycles, the Shemitahs. Every 7 Shemitahs (7x7 years= 49 years) the 50th year is a Jubilee year. Every 7 Jubilee’s is a Super Jubilee year.
    • Jubilee years are like super Shemitah’s. They are massive celebrations, and something significant is that for this year all land will go back to the original owner.
      • Every time that Israel was returned to their land, whether by the the first time with Joshua when they sacked Jericho, or the Babylonians, or the winning Jerusalem from the Muslims in the 6 Day War, it always happened on a Jubilee year. Sept 2015- Sept 2016 will be a Super Jubilee year
  • As Israel follows God, they are blessed. As they turn away from God, the Shemitah year becomes a sign of judgement (see “The Mystery of the Shemitah”, Jonathan Cahn).

  • Think back on the 7 years of feast (2001-2008) and the 7 years of famine (2008-2015), and we will continue with the next 7 year period from there.
    • September 2015 is the end of the Shemitah year (7 year cycle) and a Jubilee year (50 year cycle); This will be the 70th Jubilee cycle since Joshua led Israel across the River Jordan.

To learn more about the blood moons, which have recently been arrayed in a chiasmus spanning 8 years, check out this photo. There is a perfectly split chiasmus (ancient Hebrew poem style, found in the Old Testament and Book of Mormon), and its IN THE SKY.

The Significance of the Year 2015

  • To set things up properly, we need to step back to the Sept 2014 First Presidency Message, "Are We Prepared"
    • President Monson gave a curious talk about chicken farming, fire, and smoke, and asking if we are prepared. It is interesting that this warning came exactly 6 years into the 7 years of famine.
    • What do scared chickens have to do with being prepared? In short, the story is about how, as a boy, President Monson (then Tommy) was doing service on a Church chicken farm, picking weeds. The young men burned the weeds, but did so too close to the chicken coops. The fire and smoke was so close, it caused the chickens to panic. They started molting, and stopped producing eggs.
      • Now, I leave it to you to make the connection to being prepared. Who is represented by the laborers, who are the chickens, and what is the fire?

  • When I originally wrote this, I predicted that the Supreme Court would rule against the sanctity of marriage.  June 26, 2015, that event occurred. Interestingly enough, this is the same day that the ancient walls of Jerusalem were breached, and the sacred city defiled.

    • According to Jewish Rabbis, as they interpret the book of Genesis, there was something significant about the phrase, "married, and given in marriage." It wasn't just violence that caused the flood, it was also the destruction of marriage and family.
    • This will be the destruction of the family similar to what caused the flood of Noah, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the warning at the end of The Family: A Proclamation to the World.
  • This year will be very significant. 70 comes up multiple times in the scriptures, such as the 70 years Babylon had Israel in captivity before they were returned.
    • This could mean the return of the Temple Mound or the return of the Saints to our Zion in Missouri happens in 2015-2016!!

  • President Hinckley “Living in the Fulness of Times”, general conference October 2001; “The vision of Joel has been fulfilled..”
    • Joel 2:28-32 “And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire , and pillars of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.”
    • However, signs can be fulfilled more than once, and this will be significant because the sun will be darkend and the moon turn to blood for a total of 6 signs this year.

  • Continuing with the 7 year cycles, the only other 7 year period mentioned in the scriptures is the 7 Years of Tribulation found in Rev 13, indicating that perhaps Sept 2015-2022 will be the 7 years of tribulation.
  • In the "Speculation" section we go over the opening of the 7th seal, which starts with “about half an hour.” While we can only guess what that means, consider that if 1 day to God is 1,000 years to man, then "about half an hour" to God would be 21-22 years.

  • If you continue the cycle from when Joshua crossed the River Jordan with Israel to reclaim their land, it would go 2001, 2008, 2015, 2022. Therefore, 2000-2022 is twenty two years, or "about half an hour."

The 4 Blood Moons in one year signify something special for Israel every time they happen. See the Times and Seasons article. The temple in Jerusalem could be rebuilt in the next year, which is a major fulfillment of prophecy for the Coming of Christ.

To recap the important events that happened in 2015:
  1. 4 Blood moons and 2 Solar Eclipses (6 total major heavenly signs in a single year)
  2. End of another Shemitah cycle
  3. End of 70th Jubilee cycle, beginning of "a new era" according to the Jews (this is huge)
  4. End of 7 years of famine, possible beginning of 7 years of tribulation? Remember, their new year is in the fall, so the issues going on in 2016 could be the opening of the tribulations.

Something amazing is happening very soon.

The Sign in Revelations 12 is Fulfilled in Sept 2017

This sign is especially wonderful. No one in their right mind can doubt that this scripture is being fulfilled at this time, the only time in 7,000 years that is will be fulfilled so perfectly since the creation of the earth.

Rev 12:1-2
    • "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. 2. And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered."

  • Just watch this. Trust me. Many of us have done the research, he gets the signs right. You will also need to know that the Mazzoroth (commonly known as the Zodiac) is the constellations that God gave to His people, which were taken by other nations and corrupted. This is not astrology, this is recognizing the signs God promised us in the heavens ever since Gen. 1:14.
  • By the way, with that video, ignore the rapture part at the end, and any mention of aliens. Those are totally different subjects, and we aren’t speaking either way on them. The rest of the video is a great summation of scriptural and heavenly information.
  • You can also watch this video, because this sign has never been fulfilled so perfectly as it will in Sept 2017

Speculation

Possible Opening of the 7th Seal on April 6, 2000

  • Many falsely assume that the 7th Seal is opened when Christ comes, and starts the Millennium, however, careful reading of the Revelations of John show that this is not the case.
  • The 7th Seal is opened in Revelation 8:1 “And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of an half hour.”
    • The Lamb of God opened each seal to show forth the great things of each succeeding thousand years…” (p 380 Millennial Messiah, 1982 Deseret Book Co.)
      • This clearly indicates that each seal is a 1,000 year period, and that, following the birth of the Savior being the opening of a new seal, they happen at 0 A.D., 1000 A.D., and 2000 A.D.
      • Two possible openings: Jan 1, 2000, or April 6, 2000, however due to the heavenly signs it seems more likely that it is April 6, 2000.
      • Either way, silence for heaven for "about half an hour," if one day to God is 1,000 years to man, comes out to be about 21 years. This is significant since 7 x 3=21, and both of  those numbers are clearly significant.
  • Possible opening - April 6, 2000
    • This was the New Year for the "Sacred Hebrew Calendar."
      • The Israelites had two calendars, one was their "sacred calendar," and one was a "civil calendar."
      • The sacred calendar’s new year started in the spring with new life, the civil calendar started with the harvest in the fall.  In the year 2000, the Hebrew sacred calendar shows the New Year as April 6, 2000.
    • When reading Revelations 7, it describes Elias restraining the destroying angels from pouring out the Tribulations until the saints can be sealed.  Then it continues to talk about the sealing, or protecting, of the 144,000 which many feel is the fore-ordination of the missionaries that will gather the repentant during and just after the Tribulations.  Perhaps this sealing included the record setting 34 Temples were dedicated in the year 2000 alone.

  • The opening of the 7th Seal sounds like a temple dedication. The Palmyra Temple was dedicated on April 6, 2000.
    • Still in Revelations 7, when we get to the middle in verse 9-10:
      • 9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;   10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
    • This seems to describe a temple dedication. It says that members from all nations, tongues, people would be in attendance.  How would that be possible?  Palmyra was the first televised temple dedication where ALL worthy members over the age of 12 could attend.
    • Palms in their hands -- members used white hankies to wave for the Hosanna Shout.  These hankies represent the palms laid in front on the Saviors path on his triumphal entry into Jerusalem days before his crucifixion. Vs. 10, it is talking about the Hosanna Shout.
    • Verse 12 begins and ends with AMEN and there is no doubt this is the description of the dedicatory prayer.
      • In fact - President Hinckley used half of those exact words in the dedicatory prayer and the other words were inferred. Likely more would have been similar with a better translation of that chapter from the original Greek.
    • In Revelations 8:1, the Seventh Seal is opened immediately thereafter.  In figuring the timeline for Rev 8:1  “about the space of half an hour”, this would equal just over 20 ½ years.
    • April 6, 2000 is believed to be the Savior’s 2000th birthday, as well as the day of His resurrection, but it is definitely the the 170th anniversary of the restoration of the church, and the day that the Last Supper occurred.
The Palmyra Temple was the 77th temple to be dedicated.
Members at the dedication claim to have been told by attending General Authorities that this moment marked the opening of the 7th Seal. It is also reported that the temple workers at the Palmyra Temple will attest the same thing.
    • Also significant on April 6, 2000 were the signs in the heavens, found here.
    • So we have the beginning of the Hebrew Sacred Calendar, signs in the heavens, the 2000th birthday and possibly resurrection day of the Savior, and the dedication of the temple where the Restoration of the Gospel happened.

21 Years of Silence

  • Since 1000 years on earth is one day to God, then 1 hour is 42 years, and half an hour is 21 years.
    • If the seal opened Jan 1 or April 6 2000, either way “about half an hour” is around 2021-2022, which is 7 years of feast, 7 years of famine, 7 years of…. tribulation? We have had our time to prepare, there is no room for fence sitters any more.

Also interesting to note:

  • Cow born with the number 7 on his head on Sept 27, 2014, which is very similar to the vision of Pharaoh.
  • The harbingers of repentance, Rabbi Johnathan Cahn gives insight into the September 11 attacks, ancient Israel, and our current situation.

Mercy to the Pharisees, Mercy to You

Fools.
Serpents.
Generation of vipers.
Hypocrites.
Children of the devil.

These are the names that Christ called the Pharisees. It almost seems… un-Christlike, doesn’t it? We have to realize, though, that Christ didn’t mean these things as insults, but as observable facts, or accurate symbolism. Its not exactly “politically correct,” according to today’s standard, but in truth, God cares more about calling people to repentance than popularity contests.

He cares. About everyone. Sinners and saints, the obedient and the hypocrites. He cares about our happiness and salvation more than we can imagine. In fact, our salvation is all that is on His mind (Moses 1:39).

If any single group was responsible for the crucifixion of our God, it was these men. They continually attempted to trick Christ in His words, to murder Him when the Romans weren’t around, and one day they got their wish.
They murdered God.

So is that it? They are all going to hell?

It would seem so… but what kind of an all benevolent being would use His own spirit brothers and sisters and force them to go to hell? Now that’s not very Christlike.

Setting the Historic Stage

In the year 600 B.C. in the commencement of the reign of King Zedekiah “there came many prophets” (1 Nephi 1:4) calling the people to repentance. They were preaching that the people needed to repent, or they would be enslaved, which we all know.
However, another of the things that they were sharing was that the Messiah would come twice. And why would He come twice? It is because after the Jews returned to the land of Israel, they would wickedly reject their God.
This concept was so infuriating to the leadership at the time that they began killing those who prophesied such a “blasphemous” thing. Next, in a pattern that is followed in every nation (including modern ones), they began removing any mention of these things from their text.

What this means is that for the next 600 years, the Jews believed that the Messiah would come and redeem them from bondage, and from slavery. Not spiritual slavery, not spiritual bondage, but specifically physical slavery to the Babylonians, the Persians, and the Romans.

Six Hundred and Thirty Years Later

The Messiah comes, as prophesied, to redeem mankind from their sins. He comes in humility, in a manger, and instead of preaching rebellion and freedom from the heathens, He comes preaching peace, charity, and forgiveness.
Peter, in his zeal to fight for his Master and to free his people, raises a sword and smites the ear off of a man. Christ, fulfilling His role of lamb to the slaughter, doesn’t take the opportunity to purge the wicked from the promised land, and instead heals the injured man.
Then God, the most powerful mortal to grace the earth, allows Himself to be taken, stripped, beat, mocked, scourged, spat upon, whipped, and condemned. This act is the most meek moment in history because, as Elder Neal A. Maxwell taught, “Meekness is great power under complete control.”
Who else has more power than God? What man would not want to use any means necessary to escape such a terrible fate? When a trial seems to heavy to bear, and you feel powerless, remember that Christ has been in your place more than we tend to realize, and that He has the power to make you whole.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

While this torture is going on, Peter is asked, “I recognize you, you were with Jesus of Nazareth!”
Peter’s hopeless response, “I know not the man!” seems out of character for a man who was just willing to fight and die for the Messiah.
How else might we interpret that phrase?

What about:

“I thought I knew Him. I walked with Him, was taught by Him, loved Him, would have died for Him, but… He is not fulfilling the role that He promised He would fulfill. Recently Jesus said He would be taken and killed, but we didn’t understand. I still don’t understand, He is the Messiah, the Spirit has testified it to me! The scriptures said God would redeem us from bondage, not be slain!

“I thought I knew Jesus Christ, but perhaps I didn’t really know Him after all….”

It is no wonder that after three times of facing this reality that Peter finally broke down, and wept.

Another example of this confusion is when Christ visited the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. These men were sure that Christ would redeem them, but they woke up the same day that every said Christ was resurrected, and they were still subject to the Romans. To the Jews, things simply were not adding up...

An Eternal Perspective Solves Most Mysteries

So why did this have to happen this way? Why did God allow the prophets to be slain, and the scriptures to be changed during Israel's rebellion?

Before the world began, Christ was ordained by our loving Heavenly Father to redeem mankind from the fall. He did this through the infinite Atonement, the most powerful act of love to permeate every particle of existence.

One aspect of the Atonement is that Christ, the Anointed One, would come unto His own, and they would receive Him not. The chosen people of the Lord, the covenant people of God, would reject, and forsake their God. They went as far as to kill God. They literally murdered their own God, an innocent man, in cold blood.

Well, that is not technically correct. They had no power to kill Christ, Christ gave up His life willingly, by His own power. However, they fulfilled the role of slaying the mortal part of Him. Things had to be done this way as part of the Atonement. If there was any other way it could be done, Christ asked the Father that it be done that way, but suffered the will of the Son to be swallowed up in the will of the Father (Matt 26:39).
I imagine that the conversation in the pre-mortal life between Jehovah and Heavenly Father went something like this:

“Per the requirements of the Atonement, I will be crucified by my own people, ones who are now valiant disciples of you, Father.”
“How will you keep them from becoming Sons of Perdition?”

“All men are held accountable to the light that they have received. They will be guilty of the crimes they commit against the law which they do have; but to save them from knowingly killing their own God, I will give them the gift of ignorance.”

Every time I consider the love of God, I am in awe. But when I learn something like this, when I realize the time, and effort, and pain that Christ goes through to extend the arms of mercy to us, the most profound adoration and reverence fills my heart.

"How great the wisdom and the love
That filled the courts on high
And sent the Savior from above
To suffer, bleed, and die!

"How great, how glorious, how complete
Redemption’s grand design,
Where justice, love, and mercy meet In harmony divine!" - Hymn 195

If Christ loved His own murderers so much that He would put a plan in to rescue His from outer darkness, consider what He has done for you. I do not mean to imply that He loves you more because you are more righteous, or that He loves others less because they don't keep the same commandments as you; what I mean is that that He would do, and has done, the same for you in some way.
Realize that the Pharisees lived their whole lives not knowing what Christ had done for them 600 years in the past. We are encouraged to give anonymous service to each other, what kind of anonymous service does God do for us? How many prayers for safety and prosperity and happiness are answered without us knowing?

How great is His forgiveness to those who will but reach out, and enter the embrace of the arms of mercy? Realizations such as these help us understand what is meant by, “The Atonement is the greatest act of love to permeate reality.”

So yes, the Pharisees will be held accountable for the light they did sin against. They knew that they were crucifying and innocent man, and God will deal with them justly. But they were, unlike Judas Iscariot, spared from knowingly crucifying their God.
